VP-NSF Cohort Pilot Program

The VP-NSF Cohort Program (henceforth, “Cohort”) is a university-wide resource that provides up to 20 faculty with NSF-specific mentoring, skill development, and support. Faculty selected to participate in the one-year program will craft an entire NSF proposal with the objective of submitting the following year (and/or next cycle). The program is designed for both new faculty and those who are new to pursuing NSF funding. This is a pilot launch of the VP-NSF Cohort Program.

CTSI Call for Applications - R01 Writing Groups, October 2022 Submissions

Announcement

Submitting a first successful R01 is a major challenge. The University's KL2 program, a part of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, is again organizing R01 writing groups that will include up to five NIH defined new investigators who are pursuing their first R01 NIH award (or equivalent). Each group will be headed by one or two senior faculty members with extensive success with NIH awards and study section reviewer experience. The groups will foster peer and senior mentoring to produce top quality grant submissions.

Fall Writing Retreat

Announcement

Please join us for a one-day retreat to work on fellowship/grant applications or to develop larger projects (e.g., books, interventions). We will also be highlighting some new funding opportunities including support for research on equity, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI). This retreat is free and open to all faculty.
