Data Science Seed Grant Program - Now Accepting Applications

The Offices of the VPR and the SVPHS Research Unit have co-sponsored an internal seed grant program in data science research as part of the recently announced One Utah Data Science Hub. Researchers can request up to $50,000 in seed grant funding to develop pilot data and/or resources with the potential to impact data-centric activities and generate successful external funding applications. Applications will be due by 11:59pm (MST) on Monday, November 7th, 2022.

Applications being accepted for the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant

Deadline: October 14, 2022 Huntsman Cancer Institute is now accepting applications for the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant (ACS-IRG). The ACS-IRG is a pilot funding mechanism for junior faculty members. The award is $30,000 over a 12-month period starting 01/01/2022 and will be given to 5 different qualified applicants with cancer focused/relevant projects in disciplines including but not limited to –– basic science, translational research, and population science. Eligible applicants are those within 6 years of their first independent faculty position and who have yet to secure significant extramural funding (NIH R01 or equivalent)
