Call for Proposals: VR4 Health Sciences Education

Virtual reality (VR) is transforming the way healthcare is accessed, prescribed, and taught around the world. The Eccles Health Sciences Library and the Therapeutic Games and Apps Lab (The GApp Lab) are seeking proposals for medical applications and simulation projects to be developed in virtual reality. A single proposal will be selected to receive up to $100,000 that will be used by graduate students in the The GApp Lab to develop a prototype medical VR tool over the course of a year. Eligible: University of Utah faculty (tenure-line or career-line), residents, researchers, instructors, clinicians, and hospital administrators.

Attend one of two information sessions to learn more about the application process and previous health sciences VR projects.
