Corporate Funding Opportunities

PIVOT Center works with companies to thoroughly understand their R&D goals and match them to research goals of the appropriate faculty members at the University of Utah. PIVOT’s Corporate Engagement team works across all schools and units to facilitate partnerships and offer expertise on identifying opportunities that include grant funding, sponsored research and creating strategic corporate partnerships. PIVOT also provides guidance to faculty for successful stewardship. Bayer Crop Science | Testing4Ag: Novel compounds for early biological screening cascades
Amount: Varies
Deadline: 3/31/2022

Through the newly launched Testing4Ag program, Bayer offers testing of compounds against plant pathogens, weed species, insect and nematode pests or vectors using state-of-the-art phenotypical biological assays on whole organisms. Selection will be based on novelty, PhysChem properties, and sustainability e.g., human, or environmental safety alerts.

Results of biological tests will be shared with you and can be freely published. Any IP generated in the program will stay with you and your institution.

Based on results from preliminary screening, further individual collaborations may be developed with Bayer and could include in-depth biological and biochemical profiling, e.g., investigation of mode-of-action, exploration of structure-activity-relationships, etc.

Pfizer RFP 2022 Rheumatology Competitive Grant Program
