New Version of Web of Science for UofU Libraries

When you access Web of Science, you’ll see a redesigned interface with significant improvements in speed, search, and exporting. There are no changes to the underlying data, but you may notice differences in the ways traditional search features are presented.

To help you with the transition, the platform provides built-in tool tips, and a Resource Center with guided tours, help, and “Suggest a Feature.”  To use the original Web of Science interface, click the “Apps” link in the upper right-hand corner of the platform.

Web of Science is one of the most powerful research tools available on campus. It will help you:

  • Confidently discover and access information and ideas across all disciplines
  • Quickly find quality, peer-reviewed research
  • Reliably keep up to date within your research fields

The University of Utah’s subscription provides coverage back to 1900 across 254 subject categories and includes 34,200 indexed journals, links to 12 million peer-reviewed full-text open access articles, and 1.89 billion cited references.
