Taft-Nicholson Summer Fellow Residency Awards

The Taft Nicholson Center for Environmental Humanities Education is pleased to announce the 11 Faculty Fellows for the 2021 Season. These fellowships are designed to provide intensive, dedicated, writing time for faculty to work on their research/creative agendas. The Taft Nicholson Summer Fellow Residencies are available to tenure-line faculty in all disciplines for 1-3 weeks of dedicated writing time for scholarly pursuits of research or creative projects. This year's fellows will represent 6 colleges and 7 departments across campus.  These fellows will be welcomed to our beautiful Centennial Valley location for the month of July, fellowships are available from 1 to 4 weeks to  faculty who have held a regular U of U faculty appointment for 1 year or more are eligible to apply.  Applications for the 2022 season will open via our website October 2021.
