Research Education - REd

The Office of Research Education (REd) provides “comprehensive training and learning opportunities and resources for faculty, students and staff engaged in responsible conduct of research at the University of Utah.”  The primary goals of the REd Office are to:

  • Offer up-to-date courses and seminars linked to the research enterprise
  • Ensure that faculty, students, and staff develop the necessary skills to implement best practices for research
  • Provide faculty, students, and staff with access to resources and tools to implement best practices for research

Onboarding for New PI’s: Submitting Proposals at the University of Utah
Reminder: This new Canvas course is required for researchers who are new to the University of Utah, or for investigators submitting extramural funding proposals for the first time. The course guides new PIs through the process of preparing and submitting proposals, and describes campus resources for finding sources of funding, preparing proposal documents, and submitting proposals to all external sponsors.
