PIVOT Center works with companies to thoroughly understand their R&D goals and match them to research goals of the appropriate faculty members at the University of Utah. PIVOT’s Corporate Engagement team works across all schools and units to facilitate partnerships and offer expertise on identifying opportunities that include grant funding, sponsored research and creating strategic corporate partnerships. PIVOT also provides guidance to faculty for successful stewardship. Clinical Investigator Award

The goal of the Clinical Investigator Award (CIA) program is to promote patient-oriented research through the training of surgical oncologists in clinical and translational science. Applicants must be surgical oncologists within 8 years of completion of training and be full SSO members for at least 6 months prior to application submission to be eligible for the award.

Pfizer: 2021 Rheumatology Competitive Grant Program

The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to support both clinical and basic science research on the pathogenesis and treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), and/or Ankylosing Spondylarthrosis (AS) with a specific focus on projects that are most relevant to improving patient care. 

 All US investigators are encouraged to apply, including young investigators who are in the early stages of their career.

Through this Research RFP, Pfizer and GE Healthcare wish to support research projects focused on assessing both diagnostic performance and changes over time of 18F-flutemetamol cardiac uptake after initiation of Tafamidis treatment in subjects diagnosed with ATTR cardiac amyloidosis.

  3. Burden of disease: Clinical Hemophilia A and B
