Available Position: Training and Development Coordinator, Research Education

This position is based in the Office of Research Education (REd). REd leads the development and delivery of research training for University of Utah faculty, staff, and students. The individual hired for this position will build, manage, and facilitate outreach activities for REd, including support for new and existing synchronous and asynchronous courses as well as develop and analyze strategic content for social media. The incumbent will work closely with REd staff and other educational units at the University of Utah. Please note that application review will begin on January 24, 2022.

This position will be responsible for coordinating marketing, out-facing communications, and outreach to campus and community stakeholders with REd staff. This hire will also coordinate and facilitate training and development programs, and will review programmatic needs to develop curricula and classes to meet training needs campus wide. The incumbent will monitor the effectiveness of existing training formats and implement the changes needed to ensure a positive outcome for instructors and participants. This person will support the development and delivery of REd offerings for both the public and the University of Utah research community.
