Corporate Sponsored Funding

PIVOT Center  works with companies to thoroughly understand their R&D goals and match them to research goals of the appropriate faculty members at the University of Utah. PIVOT’s Corporate Engagement team works across all schools and units to facilitate partnerships and offer expertise on identifying opportunities that include grant funding, sponsored research and creating strategic corporate partnerships. PIVOT also provides guidance to faculty for successful stewardship. Hyundai Scholar Hope Award

Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by Hyundai Motor America and its U.S. dealers, announces $11 million in new grants which will continue its mission to end childhood cancer. Grant awards for this year will support COVID-19 drive-thru testing and pediatric cancer research at leading children's hospitals throughout the nation

The Research Scholar Program aims to support early-career professors who are pursuing research in fields relevant to Google. The Research Scholar Program provides unrestricted gifts to support research at institutions around the world, and is focused on funding world-class research conducted by early-career professors

Volvo Environment Prize

Amount: $160,000

Nominations are open in all fields of environmental and sustainability studies and initiatives. The Prize is awarded by an independent foundation. A Scientific Committee does the initial screening and evaluation of candidates. Internationally renowned scientists in the Prize Jury make the final selection of prize laureate.

ASAHI KASEI PHARMA OPEN INNOVATION is an open innovation platform started in 2016 to recruit candidates for research collaborations related to drug discovery. Clinical Investigator Award
Sponsor: Society of Surgical Oncology 
Deadline: January 21st, 2021 
Amount: $100,000 

The goal of the Clinical Investigator Award (CIA) program is to promote patient-oriented research through the training of surgical oncologists in clinical and translational science. Applicants must be surgical oncologists within 8 years of completion of training and be full SSO members for at least 6 months prior to application submission to be eligible for the award.
