Pivot: Your Expert in Connecting Scholars to Funding Opportunities

Pivot is a searchable data base that supports the research and scholarly community at the U. It is available to all University of Utah faculty, staff, and students. Pivot offers a variety of valuable research resources including; funding and publishing opportunities, collaborator identification, and scholarly profiles.

The Research Development Office and Research Education are now offering RATS courses on Pivot to help individuals: 

  • Login and navigate the Pivot interface
  • Claim their individual Pivot scholarly profiles
  • Match research interests to financial support
  • Locate collaborators with common research interests

Classes are being offered on:

  • Tuesday, August 27th | 2:00pm – 4:00pm | HSEB 2110
  • Tuesday, September 17th | 2:00pm – 4:00pm | Marriot Library 1160
