The Office of the Vice President for Research is providing guidance related to human subjects-related research visits. This policy is being implemented to protect research participants, research personnel, and the larger University community from risk of infection from COVID-19, and to ensure continued access to clinical research that may provide essential therapies to participants.
The Clinical Research Compliance and Education (CRCE) Office is a core team within Compliance Services at the University of Utah. The CRCE team facilitates processes, provides training and education, and engages in oversight activities designed to ensure that clinical services associated with human subjects research are charged to the correct party, that claims submitted to government health care programs comply with the requirements of the applicable program, and that human subjects research complies with expectations imposed by the federal Food and Drug Administration.
Recursion and the U’s Center for Technology & Venture Commercialization (TVC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the launch, programming and management of an incubator for life science and technology startups. The incubator will be located in Recursion’s former Research Park offices (630 S. Komas Drive). The 14,500-square-foot facility includes 5,000 square feet of wet labs, offices, co-working space, and multi-function rooms
