Office of Undergraduate Research announces launch of RANGE: Undergraduate Research Journal

Announcement

The Undergraduate Studies Office of Undergraduate Research is pleased to announce the renamed and newly launched on Press Books, RANGE: Undergraduate Research Journal, Volume 23, Issue 2 (2022). RANGE: Undergraduate Research Journal's primary goal is to make more visible the rich and diverse scholarship conducted by University of Utah undergraduates.

Join us for Research on Capitol Hill on Jan. 20

Announcement

The Office of the Vice President for Research, the Office of Government Relations, and the Office of Undergraduate Research are thrilled to announce that select University of Utah and Utah State University students will be exhibiting their research via posters to Utah State legislators on Friday, January 20 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm in the State Capitol Rotunda.

17th annual Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research coming in February

Announcement

The University of Utah is hosting the 17th annual Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research (UCUR) on Friday, February 17, 2023. Undergraduates from across the state of Utah will be presenting their research in a variety of fields and disciplines from the creative and performing arts, humanities, health and medicine, STEM, and social sciences. Presentations including poster presentations, oral presentations, and creative presentations, and will occur throughout the day in the Union Building and the Alumni House.

Fall 2019 Undergraduate Research Mentor Development Program Registration Open

The purpose of the Undergraduate Research Mentor Development Program is to increase the capacity of the University of Utah to provide high-quality research mentors for undergraduate students. Participation in the program is available to University of Utah graduate students, post-docs, and faculty. Upon successful completion of the program, graduate students and post-docs will be eligible to serve in the place of ‘faculty mentors’ in the context of the Office of Undergraduate Research’s funding programs.
