The College of Health is among the largest of the colleges and schools at the University with 2,500 undergraduates and 600 graduate students. Degree options include 18 BA/BS degree emphases, 16 master’s degree programs, three clinical doctorates, and five PhD programs. This combination of graduate degrees, professional programs, and undergraduate majors uniquely positions the College to contribute to the clinical and research missions of University of Utah Health and high impact educational practices on the main campus.

Faculty conduct research and promote scholarly activity that furthers an understanding of treatment and effective practices, including those that can be successfully applied in community, clinical, and rehabilitative settings. Currently the College supports 30 laboratories and clinics that perform research, and also provide valuable services to the community, professions, and the University.

Mission: To lead the complex shift in health care from primarily caring for the sick to keeping people healthy, fit and resilient by developing and implementing innovative science; and educating the next generation of practitioners and researchers.
