Joshua Graham
Joshua Graham is a Salt Lake City based artist and educator. He is best known for his site-specific work and community-based artistic interventions using found objects and other natural ephemera. Artist-in-Residence programs are central to his research, taking him into such diverse places as national parks, ancient castles, and contemporary art museums. Joshua’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including museum solo shows and permanent installations. He received his formal art training from the Arts Students League of New York, Brigham Young University, and the University of Utah. Jennifer Follstad Shah, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of the Environment, Society, & Sustainability (ESS) and Associate Director of the Environmental Studies & Sustainability (ENVST) program. Jennifer is an ecosystem ecologist whose research examines how global changes affect microbial community dynamics and ecosystem processes that influence water quality in freshwater systems and biogeochemical cycles in both aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Her research is focused on advancing basic science that informs societal needs, such as mitigation of impaired waterways, riparian conservation, assessment of river and riparian restoration, and green infrastructure design. Jennifer serves on several technical and legislative advisory committees. Nathan Lunstad
Dr. Nathan Lunstad has 28 years of professional engineering experience as a consultant, city engineer, and state regulator. Dr. Lunstad is the Director for the Division of Drinking Water in the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. He works with elected officials and other water agencies to develop and review Division-related legislation, and advises, consults, and cooperates with the other state water agencies, Local Health Departments, the EPA, many state public water systems, and non-government agencies to carry out the Division’s regulatory responsibility. Nathan represents the Division with federal, state, and local government units, in the media, and on various boards, councils, committees, and helps implement programs that ensure consistency and continuous improvement of drinking water programs to efficiently protect public health.
