Survey: Community Input on New ARPA-H Initiative for Early Career Investigators

Announcements

ARPA-H is launching an Emerging Health Innovators (EHI) initiative focused on increasing access to government research funding and addressing health care gaps in the US. The first step in this process is a Network Survey to learn about the specific needs, challenges, and concerns of early career investigators (track 1) and community innovators (track 2).

Importantly, responses to this survey will inform a forthcoming funding solicitation, anticipated to be available in late 2024. We strongly encourage early-stage investigators to participate in this survey.

Track 1: Technology-driven Innovation supports early career investigators in developing innovative health technologies. Eligible applicants: early career researchers, within 10 years of earning their final degree, in academic or research institutions including U.S.-based minority-serving institutions.

Track 2: Community-center Innovation empowers community innovators to develop technology that addresses specific community needs. Eligible applicants: community innovators, including but not limited to community health care workers, medical professionals, nurses, social workers at community health centers, non-profit organizations, and/or faith-based organizations.

You can access the survey here. The deadline to respond is October 25th 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.

If you are unfamiliar with ARPA-H, the SVPHS Research Development team has created an ARPA-H primer that you can find here.
