Lightning Talk Event: “Microplastics”

Events

Research has identified microplastics, PFAS, and other threats in our water, food, and greater ecosystem. Funders are calling for research to help detect and mitigate these threats.

In coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research, the PEAK Water Sustainability Engine is excited to host a 90-minute Microplastics lightning talk event to identify related and existing areas of strength on campus, hear lightning talks from active researchers in this space, and discuss emerging research opportunity in this area. The goal of this event is to help mobilize potential research teams on these topics.
