The Office of the Vice President for Research is excited to announce the launch of The AVPR’s Desk website and bi-weekly newsletter! Following feedback from campus community members and stakeholders, the AVPR’s Desk is a new communication channel that will help streamline the way critical research information reaches our faculty, students, staff, post-docs, and other campus community members.
The AVPR’s Desk is a daily stream that provides access to new information, including internal and external funding opportunities, research events, funder announcements, research announcements, and more. This stream will include a wide range of announcements relevant to the interests of our research community. Information previously sent to Research Deans (and other campus leaders) for distribution to their colleges/units will now be uploaded directly to the AVPR’s Desk as it becomes available. Events and Funding Opportunities will be available until the date of event or submission deadline passes. All other announcements will be available for 30 days from initial posting date.
Researchers can utilize the table of all announcements, opportunities, and events directly to find information they need in a timely fashion or receive featured content in a biweekly email. Note: the bi-weekly emails are designed to feature 2-3 key events, funding opportunities, and announcements each. We strongly encourage bookmarking the AVPR’s Desk webpage and checking regularly for all announcements and updates.
