We are excited to share that STEM Safety Day will take place on Sept. 6th, 2024 in the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House on campus.
This free, collaborative event, hosted by the College of Science, Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, John and Marcia Price College of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, and Environmental Health and Safety, offers seminars, trainings, and other sessions designed to help our community better understand and mitigate the health and safety hazards associated with working in STEM fields at the U. Whether you spend most of your time in a lab, a patient-facing setting, or an office, you will find relevant sessions to improve safety in your area of work.
This event is broken up into different 1-2 hour sessions throughout the day to allow participants to attend as their schedules permit. Lunch and breakfast will be served.
Of course, space will be limited for many of the sessions. Those who use the priority registration link below will have the first opportunity to sign up for individual trainings and seminars when the finalized agenda is published later this summer.
