Knowledge, Ethics, Impact: The REd Difference

Behind every discovery is a researcher who knows how to navigate the complexities of responsible, ethical, and impactful research. At the University of Utah, the Research Education (REd) program has been working since 2004 to ensure that faculty, staff, and students have the tools, training, and support to do just that.

With a robust calendar of workshops and courses—from research data management to the responsible and ethical conduct of research—REd is a key part of the University’s commitment to research excellence and integrity. Participants can also pursue Certificates of Achievement, deepening their expertise in specialized areas. RED 768 FAIR AND OPEN SCIENCE

“We’re building a research culture grounded in rigor, responsibility, and relevance,” said Jesse Morris, Director of Research Education. “REd provides the foundation for every research breakthrough to be credible, ethical, and impactful.”

Through REd, researchers are better equipped to move their work from idea to impact—accelerating discovery while upholding the highest standards.
