Join us on December 3rd from 2-4 pm in FASB 375 (and 303) for the Utah Snow Symposium.
The two goals of this event are: 1) to bring researchers together from across campus and make new connections around the broad theme of snow; 2) to bring students (and faculty) together from across campus to amplify the learning community around the broad theme of snow.
A portion of the event will be dedicated to faculty and students highlighting their research,
mingling between participants, planning additional ways to build connections in our community, and keynote talks on hot topics in snow research.
If you would like to give a three-minute lightning talk on your research, please email Leif S. Anderson, Director of the Global Change and Sustainability Center, with your name and talk title. Faculty: please pass this invitation onto your students as we would love to have them share their research or research plans as well! Also, please interpret the theme “snow” in a broad sense, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
