The summer has been busy already for the CRSO team. Let us know if you have any questions and feel free to pass this information to your study teams. Contact information is listed at the end of this update.
EPIC AND FINANCE
- Grants and Contracts Accounts has approximately over $115,000 of received funds that have not been applied to a particular project. Alex Sotelo can answer any questions.
- PeopleSoft reports are available to reconcile study-related clinical charges. If you do not have access to this report, please contact CRSO Finance.
- CPT Code G2211: Visit Complexity Inherent to E/M Association w/Medical Services as needed for ongoing care related to complex conditions.
- UMB has created a process so that once the G2211 is directed to the research study, the charges will be shifted to $0.00. If the charges are to be billed to the insurance; the charge amount will remain with the standard charge fee schedule amount. This process is in production, so study teams can release these from their billing reports. Once UMB has completed their reviews, it should then hit our internal process to change the pricing amounts.
- UMB will run a report for all G2211 charges with no coverage associated, which will include the research transactions and have the charge amounts adjusted off so that the studies do not need to pay for code at this time.
