The 2024 Lab Safety Awareness Week will be held from February 12-16. This event recognizes the successes of laboratory health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep our faculty, staff and students safe.

During the week, informational posters will be up in various locations in buildings throughout campus. The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team will be hosting meet and greet events in laboratory buildings where faculty, staff, and students can ask questions, meet their EHS team, and get some safety swag.

EHS in association with the College of Science will also be hosting three online forums: Learning and Improving After a Near Miss Incident; Stress and Burnout: How to Avoid these Factors for Increased Risk in Your Work; and Tips for Effective Safety Committees.
