Announcing the Second Annual Remote & Austere Condition (RAC) Grand Challenge
Announcements
It is our pleasure to announce the second annual Remote & Austere Condition (RAC) Grand Challenge. The RAC Grand Challenge is a research competition that awards 1 million+ in seed grant funding to teams proposing cutting edge solutions to problems facing remote areas.
The 2025 RAC Grand Challenge will be hosted at the University of Utah from March 5th - 7th, 2025. There is an opening night VIP dinner on March 5th, a research roundtable on March 6th, and the pitch competition on March 7th.
The research roundtable will feature a different topic each year. For 2025, the roundtable will be Arctic Survival. A "Save the Date" for the Arctic Survival Roundtable can be found here.
A save the date for the pitch competition can be found here. Teams looking to submit an idea can do so here.
Questions about the Arctic Survival Roundtable, and RAC Grand Challenge, should be sent to Tyler Matsamas at tyler.matsamas@utah.edu
